NetControl System Requirements

Hardware Requirements

The following system recommendation should be used to run the NetControl IoT network management platform on Windows systems.

Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2
4GB RAM
100 Mbps or 1 Gbps network, medium to low latency
300 MB free hard disk space (full install)
PJLink, SNMP, TCP/IP IoT devices

Virtualization Requirements

NetControl can be installed in a VM environment such as Xen or KVM on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Xen or KVM on SUSE Enterprise Linux, VirtualBox on Sun Solaris, OpenSolaris and Windows. NetControl can also be installed on a virtualized system running on VMWare ESXi Server.
